1. Who we are
G2 English Dictation Trainer and G3 English Dictation Trainer are published by BrightNest Software.
The Apps provide English spelling and dictation practice for primary-school learners using built-in educational content, images, audio, listening exercises, and write-what-you-hear activities.

2. Data we collect
None.
The Apps do not collect personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location data, contact information, photos, audio recordings, or any other user data from adults or children.
- The Apps have no user accounts and no sign-up or login.
- The Apps contain no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Meta/Facebook SDK, or similar services.
- The Apps contain no advertising and no advertising networks.
- The Apps do not use the camera, microphone, or location and do not request these permissions.
3. Data stored on your device
Practice-session results, progress statistics, locally created or selected learning content, and related app settings are stored only on the user's device using local storage.
This information is not transmitted to BrightNest Software. There is no BrightNest cloud account, no synchronization between devices, and no server operated by us that stores this information.
Clearing the Apps' local storage or uninstalling an App removes its locally stored data from that device.
4. Internet access and in-app purchases
The educational and practice features of the Apps are designed to work offline.
On Android, the Apps may include the
INTERNET permission so that Google Play's official billing system can
process the optional one-time Full Access purchase and restore
previous purchases.
On iOS, purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit.
BrightNest Software does not receive or store payment card information or other payment credentials.

5. Children's privacy
The Apps are designed for educational use involving primary-school children, and BrightNest Software takes children's privacy seriously.
Because the Apps collect no personal data, no personal information from children is gathered, stored on BrightNest Software systems, sold, or shared with third parties.
This privacy-focused design is intended to support compliance with applicable children's privacy requirements, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Google Play's Families policies where applicable.
In-app purchase entry points are intended for parents or guardians. Purchases are subject to the authentication protections configured on the device or store account, such as passwords or biometric confirmation.
6. Data sharing
BrightNest Software does not share user data with third parties because the Apps do not collect user data.
No personal information is sold, rented, licensed, or transferred to companies, advertisers, data brokers, or other organizations.
7. Security
Since personal data is not transmitted to BrightNest Software, the primary security consideration is information stored locally on the user's device.
The Apps use standard device-local storage mechanisms. Purchase entitlement or purchase-status information may use the platform's secure storage mechanisms where appropriate, such as Android Keystore or iOS Keychain.
8. Your choices
- You can remove locally stored App data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.
- Where available, progress or practice statistics can also be reset using controls provided inside the App.
- No personal-data deletion request needs to be sent to BrightNest Software because we do not hold personal data about users or their children.
9. Changes to this policy
If the way either App handles data changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated and the effective date will be revised.
Where required, material changes will also be reflected in the relevant app-store privacy or Data Safety declarations.
